Well done to all the boys and girls in 2nd class on taking the next step in their Communion year. They had their First Confession this evening and they were fantastic. Well done everyone and hope you all enjoyed your treat as it was well deserved. Best of luck to the senior boys who are in the indoor hurling final in the Teeling Centre Colooney at 11.40am today. Be sure to come and support the boys.
What fantastic outfits we had today. We had princesses, gingerbread men, Dark Vader, the billionaire kid to name but a few. We had a fashion parade with Junior and Senior Infants in our class as it was too wet to go outside. Well done to all who got involved.
There will be a meeting tomorrow night the 3rd of March in Ballinagar Hall (Hall beside Fr Vincents house) at 8pm for all parents of First Communion children.
Reminder also that First Confession takes place on Monday the 7th of March in Ballintogher church at 7pm. Tomorrow the 3rd of March is World Book Day. The children are asked to dress up as their favourite character for the day if they wish and bring in a book of choice for also.

This week we got to see 5th and 6th class perform "Matilda" in the hall as Gaeilge. It was fantastic. We enjoyed every minute and had lots of laughs. Thank you to Ms Kearins and her class for inviting us to see their dress rehearsal. They performed the play in Sligo yesterday and recieved many prizes for their play. Well done to all involved.
