We've been looking at time this week in maths. We learned a song to help us remember the months of the year.
Swimming will begin on the 20th of April 2016 for 1st and 2nd class and run for 6 weeks. A letter has gone home this evening with further details. Payment can be made in full or in installments on or before the 8th of April.
A clothes collection will take place tomorrow the 24th of Feb at school. Anybody who has old clothes are asked to bring in the clothes in bags in the morning.
The Be Active ASAP Programme will begin on Thursday the 25th of February in Ballintogher Hall. All children who would like to take part are asked to have consent forms in by tomorrow. Children in 1st and 2nd who are attending will be brought to the hall after school. Parents are asked to collect their child from the hall at 4pm. Many thanks again to the parents who have volunteered to help. Without your help this would not be possible.
1st and 2nd class boys alongside Kitty and Shane began work on the school garden today. They worked so hard getting the vegetable beds ready for planting. Well done boys.
Congratulations to all the children who won prizes today. On behalf of Ballintoghers Tidy Towns Committee Seamus presented the children with a selection of prizes. Well done everyone.
