Our art lessons continued this week with Jo and Marcella. We are enjoying the art workshop. Parent/ Teacher Meetings are taking place this week. Children will go home at 2.45pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
Today we had a wonderful day celebrating our active flag. We took part in skipping workshops with Mark throughout the day. At 2pm there was a display of the various skipping techniques. At 2.30pm Sue got things started with a little warm up for kids, parents and teachers!! Sue then raised the flag. Huge thanks to everyone who attended for the celebrations.
Well done to all the children from 2nd - 6th who took part in the Science Fair in Sligo IT on Sunday 13th of November. They worked extremely hard and presented their projects wonderfully with many people commenting on their knowledge and ability to deliver the information they had prepared. Well done everyone we are very proud of your work.
Jo came during the week to begin our art lessons. We made a bee hive as a group. We had lots of fun.
Elvis our elf returned this year and what a naughty elf he was. From mixing bundles to messing up the drama box he just was full of mischief. We had lots of fun with him but sadly he now has to go back to help Santa prepare for Christmas. He said he'll be back ! We look forward to his return next year.
The student council are working on the shoe box appeal this year again and would like all shoe-boxes to be in by Friday the 11th of November. Please ensure to enclose 4 euro in the box. Many thanks to all who have already brought them in. Here is a clip of the joy you can bring by donating a shoe-box.
