Today we visited The Hyde Bridge Gallery in Sligo. We were taken on a tour of the gallery which was entitled the "Invited Small Works Exhibition". The artists present explained to us the many materials used to create the exhibition. Over 40 small artworks were on display. On completing the tour we then had the opportunity to create a sketch and a collage inspired by any of the art that we saw. To finish our visit to the gallery we took a tour of W.B. Yeats work which was on show on the bottom floor of the building. We had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed the tour and workshop. For further details of the exhibition or if you wish to visit the gallery you can find more information on www.yeatssociety.com/the-hyde-bridge-gallery.html. Comments are closed.
